Trained for the work
Our field employees complete OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR training. Equipment operators are trained and certified on the aerial lifts, telehandlers and forklifts used on our jobsites.
Every crew member. Every jobsite. Every day.
Everyone deserves to go home safe. Across our Western and Eastern divisions, we bring that commitment to the way we train, plan and build.
Meet our safety team
Our field employees complete OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR training. Equipment operators are trained and certified on the aerial lifts, telehandlers and forklifts used on our jobsites.
Fall protection is central to our work on elevated parking structures and canopies. Every crew holds a Monday tailgate safety meeting, with additional pre-shift heat meetings on high-heat days.
Documented field safety inspections keep attention on jobsite conditions. Certifications are tracked, with automatic reminders before they expire.
Every crew member has authority to stop work when a hazard is not under control. Every incident and near miss receives a root cause investigation, and lessons are shared across crews.
Field experience. Clear leadership. A shared responsibility.

Director of Safety
Michelle leads M Bar C Construction’s safety and health program across its Western and Eastern divisions. She brings 11 years of safety experience in the oil and gas and construction industries, combining field knowledge, leadership and business experience.
Her previous role as both Controller and HSE Director gives her a perspective on the financial and safety sides of construction. A Certified Safety Manager, Construction, and OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, Michelle delivers OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Construction training.
Michelle is passionate about a culture where every crew member is trained, qualified and empowered to speak up and stop work when something isn’t right. Her approach is simple: safety is everyone’s responsibility, and everyone deserves to go home safe.

Field Safety Manager
Adam started his construction career at 18 in the framing industry. Through hard work, dedication and looking out for his crews, he worked his way up to foreman.
Moving from the field into safety was one of the biggest challenges of his career, and it shaped how he leads today. Field experience taught him that the safest way is not always the first or fastest way. It means slowing down, planning ahead and finding the right way to get the work done.
As the first point of contact for M Bar C’s field crews, Adam builds a safety culture grounded in trust. He is proud of his roots in the field and uses that experience to help crews look out for one another, take pride in their work and go home safe every day.
Multiple years of AGC and ABC awards recognize our commitment to safer work.

Our company-wide safety slogan contest gives field crews a voice in the identity of our safety program. Crew submissions have been reviewed by our Division Directors, with the final selection to be made by our Executive Team.
The winning slogan will be announced in January 2027 and featured on our crews’ safety gear and training materials.
